A native of Peru, Alejandro Pedemonte is an Austin based Director, Actor and Producer, where he shares his passion for storytelling on stage.

Alejandro is one of the pioneers in the Spanish theater scene by founding Austin’s first Spanish theater. As the Artistic Director of the Austin Latino Theater Alliance, Alejandro sought to promote and preserve Latin American culture through the arts, with a focus on destigmatizing sociocultural differences.

While theater is the foundation for Alejandro, his objective is to continue telling stories that inspire, entertain, and create awareness. For this reason, he has started his journey into the world of cinema.

For the last four years, Alejandro has been passionately working on the script for his debut feature film, IDENTITY alongside Argentine writer Pablo del Teso (Crímenes de Familia y La Ira de Dios), Earlier this year, he wrapped on his directorial debut of the short film LOOP. Recently he lent his talents in front of the camera starring in the film Mundo Gordo which was produced by Big Bang Entertainment. Jumping back to the crew side, Alejandro also worked as the Second Assistant Director in the Peruvian picture La Peor de Mis Bodas 3 also produced by Big Bang Entertainment.

Alejandro is showing no signs of slowing down. He is preparing to kick off the 2023 theater season with a play by the renowned Mexican writer, Bárbara Colio, as well as the premiere of Mudanza, an unpublished piece written by the Argentine writer Candelaria Sabagh.
