Al Rawdah
Al-Rawdah (الروضة) is a cinematic visual experience that invites viewers into the sacred serenity of Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, the revered space within the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. With no dialogue, the film relies entirely on immersive visuals and an evocative score to reflect the deep spiritual essence of one of Islam’s holiest sites.
Blending graceful camera movement with carefully composed frames, Al-Rawdah captures the emotional stillness and transcendence felt by millions of worshippers who long to step foot in this blessed space. The film is not a documentation—it is a meditation. A visual prayer.
Through its poetic lens, Al-Rawdah offers a contemplative journey into the heart of divine peace, honoring both the sacred architecture and the timeless spiritual yearning it inspires.

His recent project, Alfarida (أنا الفريدة), is a poetic music film narrated from the perspective of the Holy Kaaba, offering audiences a rare, intimate visual experience of its sacred details. The film employs macro probe lens cinematography to explore the Kaaba’s intricate elements, including the revered Black Stone.
Yasser previously directed the historical docudrama series Men of Abdulaziz, which chronicles the lives of the men who supported King Abdulaziz Al Saud during the unification of Saudi Arabia. His work often blends reverence with innovation, using cinematic techniques to deepen spiritual and cultural narratives.
With a background in both creative direction and supply chain management, Yasser brings a unique blend of artistic vision and logistical precision to his filmmaking. His films aim to bridge tradition and modernity, inviting viewers into reflective and emotionally rich experiences.
Al-Rawdah is more than a film—it is a silent act of devotion. I wanted to create an experience that does not explain or narrate, but simply allows the viewer to feel.
The Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, and specifically Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, holds an indescribable weight in the hearts of Muslims. Yet its beauty and sanctity are often too vast for words. That’s why I chose to let the images breathe, letting the quiet reverence of the space speak through movement, light, and sound.
This film is my personal prayer—a meditation on peace, longing, and nearness. I hope viewers can sense the sacred, not just see it.
