My mission stands: ‘Presenting Reality; Representing People’. As an intersectional LGBTQ+ woman of colour living in a Eurocentric, heteronormative, able-bodied world, I have two aims for my film-making:
1) I aim to create a space for de-stigmatisation - this means breaking down barriers and having the necessary conversations on the topics society hides.
2) I aim to create a space for de-colonisation - this means creating a space for the commonwealth to heal and grow through connecting on their shared experiences and educating others on their perspective.
