Aiden is the writer and director of short films Tinderbox, Insufferable Breakup, Periscope, and The Flannoisseur. Having commenced filmmaking in the spring of 2021, he has plunged into the craft, seeking to hone a wholistic cinematic language which re-enforces theme and story through sound, light, rhythm, and performance. His growing portfolio can be primarily divided into two hemispheres: absurd comedy and allegorical surrealism.
From the North Shore of Chicago, Aiden's career in the arts began when he quit his corporate statistician job and moved to the French Alps while founding and editing the print literary magazine, Polycephaly. He now keeps a vegetable garden and a black cat with his girlfriend in Beachwood Canyon, Los Angeles. He supports his increasingly expensive grappa connoisseurship working as a location scout and queen (honey bee) breeder.
His interests include literary fiction, mythology, anthropology, world history, forestry, mountaineering, beekeeping, symphonic music, sports, ethics and ontological philosophy.
He is currently honing the script for what will be his first feature film.
