Writer Biography - Tom Normandy

Tom Normandy is an up-and-coming writer, actor, and director in the Bay Area. Graduate of The Los Angeles Film School, he has established many local short films in Northern California with acting, writing, and directing credits, hoping to break through to the Independent Film scene.

Normandy has also worked on numerous Paramount productions through his part-time position with Film Mare Island.

Writer Statement

I'm a first-gen college student from a small town where I often felt like a black sheep. Navigating my gay identity in a place where diversity was scarce led me to live vicariously through the multi-faceted characters I created. I then went to school to amplify those underrepresented voices, tell queer stories, challenge stereotypes, and redefine the narrative of love, identity, and belonging.
