Afghan Refugees, Neither Here nor There

As a Pakistani filmmaker, it is a great honor that VOA (Voice of America)’s first OTT documentary series about Afghan Refugees makes its streaming debut with this documentary titled “Afghan Refugees, Neither Here nor There” on December 16, 2021.
To date, this documentary has published in many international languages, Like, English, farsi, Urdu etc.
This documentary covers the education problems faced by Afghan refugees living in Pakistan for four decades.
Story:
Noda Sofa fled her war-ravaged home in Afghanistan, hoping that she could wait it out in Islamabad for a peaceful return to her country. But Noda has faced great difficulties living an uprooted life in Pakistan: red tape, an inability to get a proper education, and an identity crisis that has left her and many other refugees very much on their own.

Euna Lee is a Korean American journalist. While working for Current TV, Lee and fellow journalist Laura Ling were detained in North Korea after they crossed into the Democratic People's Republic of Korea from the People's Republic of China without a visa.
