From 2022 to 2023 I was content coordinator at the production company Sofá Filmes.
As a director, I directed three seasons of the program "Tempero de Família" on GNT, the short films "Afeto" and "Pele um real". I also directed several videos for actress Claudia Ohana as well as video clips for singer Jana Linhares and the 33rd edition of the Shell Theater Award.
As an assistant director I worked with the directors, Ruy Guerra, Andrucha Waddington, Julio Bressane, Luisa Lima, Natalia Warth, Carlos Araújo, Denis Carvalho and Mini Kerti.
I worked on productions such as Casseta & Planeta, Malhação, Perto do Fogo, After Everything, Under Pressure, Bem Juntinhos, Os Dias Eram Assim, Real - O Plano por Trás de História and Meu cocoo de drywall.
As the director of Affect, my intention was to create a drama that explores the complexity of human emotions through the story of a woman who falls in love with a television host. This project emerged from my deep curiosity about how interpersonal relationships and media exposure can influence our lives and feelings.
My approach to the film was shaped by a desire to explore innovative cinematic techniques to convey the intensity and subtlety of the characters' emotions. I sought to use visual and stylistic techniques to reflect the depth of the protagonist's internal experiences, creating an immersive experience for the audience.
Affect is not just a love story, but a reflection on the dynamics of power and desire in the media age. By experimenting with different visual approaches, my goal is to challenge audience expectations and provoke deeper contemplation about the complexities of human connection.
I hope Affect resonates with viewers and offers a new perspective on how passion and obsession can intertwine with reality and fantasy.
