Adriana's Heart

This two-part film begins with eight-year-old Adriana living in the worst neighborhood in the region. Besieged by gang violence and crime on a daily basis she learned to NOT SEE the bad things. Her Mother's bad choices left her fatherless, but the two of them still have love. All living together with her Grandmother, the three of them make due with what life throws at them.
This Summer, however, things got worse, way worse. Adriana is almost killed in a shootout crossfire between the police and the area's largest drug dealer. That's when strange things started to happen.
An elderly friend of Adriana's Mother, Granny Moon started to get sicker when a mysterious Mama Tzi-Tzi moved into the area. Slowly, one by one, grisly murders and disappearances start occurring. Police Detective Mark Fairland has a theory. Following his gut and superior forensic science skills, he unveils the truth of what is happening, but not before it is too late. Before he can bring the local police force to bear, he and five others are held captive and placed on trial for humanity. These five must fight not only for their lives but for their souls as well.
