Adaptive Relationships

Evening. During a family dinner in honor of the wedding anniversary, Pasha informs Tanya that they need to divorce. Tanya tries to laugh it off, but Pasha shows a video where a spouse beats her husband's secretary out of jealousy.
Pasha is packing up to leave, but Tanya is not going to let him go, they have a fight where the husband pushes his wife away, and she hits hard.
Pasha tries to explain to Tanya that it was her jealousy that led to all this. Tanya begs her husband to stay for the last dinner.
Night. Pasha wakes up on the floor, things are scattered everywhere, there is blood on his head. Pasha gets up with great difficulty and discovers a tearful Tanya in a torn dress with a knife in her hand. Tanya begs not to approach her, because he got drunk and started strangling her.
Pasha does not believe his wife, collects the scattered things back into the suitcase and goes towards the exit. Tanya calls the police and reports domestic violence. Pasha knocks the phone out of her hands and discovers the pressure on her neck. Pasha is shocked, Tanya tries to calm him down, because they can still save their family.
Pasha sees a flashback of him lying on the floor, and his wife throws his things and strangles herself with a cord. The husband says that he will report her to the police himself, Tanya says that they will not believe him, because she could not do it to herself. Tanya frantically starts banging her head against the wall. Pasha begs her to stop, Tanya says that Pasha will leave her anyway. The husband promises that this will not happen, they have a small brawl that ends with sex.
Morning. Pasha and Tanya are nicely cleaning their apartment, they hear a knock on the door. Tanya, covering the pressure on the neck and the incision, opens the door. The police report that they received a call. Tanya makes excuses that it was a mistake and everything is already fine. A man's wild cry is heard from the room. The police run into the apartment and see Pasha with a knife in his leg "This crazy bitch wanted to kill me!". The police arrest Tanya.
