Director Biography - Kevin Pinski

Kevin has spent his career pushing creative boundaries and refining his craft as a visual storyteller. His long-standing passion for Pikes Peak has led him to document the mountain through multiple films, including the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, the construction of the new Summit House, and—most personally—the story of the AdAmAn Club. He is particularly suited to telling the AdAmAn story, having spent years operating camera equipment in subzero mountain conditions for extended periods of time.

Director Statement

This film has been part of my life for more than a decade — nearly a quarter of it, and half of my career. I first climbed a 14,000-foot mountain with a camera while filming the AdAmAn Club, and over the years I’ve filmed in extreme cold, brutal wind, and conditions that tested both my gear and my judgment.

What kept me coming back wasn’t spectacle, but the people — their commitment to honoring those who came before them, and to carrying a tradition forward with care and responsibility. Being trusted to tell this story has been the greatest honor of my career. This isn’t just my film. We made it together.
