Experiencing Interruptions?

A chi guarda la vita

Pino, a longtime militant of the autonomous movements in Bologna, recalls the occupation of Ex Fabbrika — an occupied, self-organized factory that became a concrete, multiform, multilingual and multicultural experience of collective solidarity. In the 1990s, it offered real support to migrants and to people fighting for the right to housing. Through Pino’s testimony and archival footage, the film reflects on the political meaning of that experience and the role of archives in preserving its memory.
