Abilene's Antidote

Abilene's Antidote is a student short about a teenage African-American girl named Abilene. Abilene and her best friend Destiny, discover her family's origin in the Gaia Tribe. The Gaia tribe resides in Yoruba, Nigeria, and possesses the gift of healing. Abilene will soon learn her role in the prophecy she must fulfill.

Director Biography - Jayden Dial

Jayden Dial is a 15-year old storyteller that utilizes art forms such as music, dance, and film to express her life. Her journey in film began when she was around 10 yrs old when she started making vlogs about her life at home. In 2018, she took a documentary film class and that opened the doors to her developing her skills. In 2021 she began exploring narrative filmmaking. Her goals with film-making include sharing her story and learning the ins and outs of filmmaking.
