Director Biography - Al M. Hemphill

A Missouri native, Al adventured onto Chicago in 2014 to pursue his lifelong passions for comedy writing and film at Columbia College and The Second City. After graduating from The Second City’s writing program, he’s created content for several of the institution’s productions and placed in the top 18% of Austin Film Festival’s comedy teleplay pilot category. His pilot, MAD MACY’S, is featured on Coverfly’s Red List for Half-Hour Horror Television. His most latest film efforts include Abe the Magnificent, Coffee Time, SLOUCH and Paperface.
