Mattia Paone was born in Abruzzo on January 26, 1988.
Since he was a child he became passionate about cinema, later on he will realize that his dream is to be a filmmaker.
After his graduation he enrolled in a drama course; meanwhile he was writing his first feature film: “Verde di mezzanotte”, due in 2014.
In 2015 he made the short film “Aglio Rosso” as a thesis for a film school in Abruzzo.
Between 2017 and 2019 he moved to Rome to attend a film school specializing in screenwriting and directing. During that time he made several shorts: “Memories”, “Il pomeriggio con Sandro”, “Il tempo dell’anima”, “Il cancello” (documentary), “Dark Night”, “Il gioco” and “Un bel sogno” (documentary).
Now he makes self-produced shorts: in 2020 “Cose vecchie”, “Jeunesse” (an advertising spot), “La bellezza delle cose” and the videoclip “For All the love”.
In 2022 “AVIO”, sf short, in 2024 “Bagliori”.
