Presently I am working in the Department of Performing Arts, at Presidency University Kolkata.

• I have assisted in the National Award winning film SUNDAR JIBAN, by Sandeep Chatterjee, produced by SRFTII.

• I have worked as a Chief Assistant Director in the Films Division produced Hindi film VASSIYAT, directed by Rajeev Kumar.

• I have freelanced as a script-writer for a non-fiction show, MEGASTAR for ETV BANGLA in 2006.

• I have worked as a script-writer for the serial SWAPNONEEL, directed by Raja Dasgupta for ALPHA BANGLA.

• I have worked as a script-writer for DUNIA DOT COM, directed by Samiran Datta.

• I have worked as a script-writer for the NFDC film, DWITYO PAKSHA, directed by Ananya Chatterjee.

• I have worked as an in-house script-writer for SANGEET BANGLA.

PRODUCTION

I have worked at Blues Production as post-production supervisor for the shows Bhalobasha dot kom and Tapur Tupur for Star Jalsha, and Bodhua for Rupashi Bangla, and Sholoaana for E TV Bangla.

I have worked with T Sarkar Produtions Limited as in-house Executive Producer.

I have worked as a Post-production director with HMV Saregama for their daily soap Kon Kanoner Phool in Zee Bangla.
One of my achievements has been to work with Mr Siddhartha Basu, first as a Floor Director and later as an Associate for the show HOWZZAT for TARA BANGLA.

I have anchored five highly rated current affairs programs (more than 150 episodes) in regional channels like Tara Bangla, Akash Bangla and CTVN and also worked as a news-reader.

As an Assistant Director and Scriptwriter I have worked in the small and the big screen. My experiences in television, especially my expertise in production was tutored and enriched by my short stint with AXN’s show “AMAZING RACE”.

I have worked as a coordinator for crime thriller KE for ETV BANGLA.

I have worked as a coordinator for the award wining ad campaign 108.7 Power FM.

I have worked as a Creative Controller in MIDAS.

ANCHORING

VOTER HAWA: This show was on the West Bengal Assembly Elections of 2001 and the Lok Sabha Elections of 2004 for TARA BANGLA.

EI MUHURTEY: This was a studio based current affairs program for TARA BANGLA.

SATYER AARALEY: This was one of the pioneer nonfiction programs based on various real life issues of corruption, fraud, child abuse, screening of pornographic films, taxi meter tampering etc. in 2001-02 for TARA BANGLA.

JOMCHE JOMBE: This was a daily youth program aired in 2003. All these programs were aired in TARA BANGLA.

BOI PARA THEKE BOI MELA: This was a show based on the Kolkata Book Fair in 2003-04.

I have worked as a News Reader for TARA BANGLA.

OTHER INTERESTS

I have published my book of poems at the age of 14 followed by four Little Magazines which I edited from 1992-99.

I had also worked as an Associate in a few Music Videos, have written jingles as well as copies for advertisements.

My first lyrical novel BISH UPAKHYAN was published in Tias in Kolkata Book Fair 1999.

My first music album BHALOBASAR MANE was released by Music 2000 in 2002.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

• Graduated from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2002.
