Victor Onwudiwe is a filmmaker based in Enugu state, Nigeria. He has a diploma in Architecture from the Institute of Management Science. Victor works part-time as a cinematographer, editor, colorist, and sound designer on several groundbreaking films produced in Africa. He was the cinematographer for Nne, which went ahead to win an AMVCA for Best Indigenous Film and won 7 ZAFAA awards, in different categories. Under his production company, Keny Basil Studios, he produced and directed Echezona, which is nominated for Best Indigenous Film in AMVCA 2022. He directed Perfect Marriage, and the movie won Best Nigerian Film in the Coal City Film Festival 2021. He gets ideas for the characters in his films from his daily interactions with people and his dream is to direct several thrillers centered on the controversial issues in the African society, especially Nigeria; and is currently building his body of work as a director.
