Director Biography - Mattia Paone

Mattia Paone was born in Abruzzo on January 26, 1988. Since he was a child he became passionate about cinema, later on he will realize that his dream is to be a filmmaker.
After his graduation he enrolled in a drama course; meanwhile he was writing his first feature film: Verde di mezzanotte, due in 2015.
In 2015 he made the short film Aglio Rosso as a thesis for a film school in Abruzzo.
Between 2017 and 2019 he moved to Rome to attend a film school specializing in screenwriting and directing. During that time he made several shorts: Memories, Il pomeriggio con Sandro, Il tempo dell’anima, Il cancello (documentary), Dark Night, Il gioco e Un bel sogno (documentary).
Now he makes self-produced shorts: in 2020 Cose vecchie, Jeunesse (an advertising spot), La bellezza delle cose and the videoclip For All the love.
