Isabella Gonzales Lastra is an independent award-winning talented writer, director, producer, and editor from the New York Film Academy for Filmmaking. She was born in Dallas, Texas, and moved to New York City for a couple of months to live out her filmmaking dreams. Isabella developed an interest for filmmaking at the age of 9. Over the years, she has had a diverse background in acting for multiple student films, sports media management, social media management for the Dallas Protest organization, and studying under film industry professionals like 'Terence Donnellan' a Multi Emmy-Nominated Filmmaker for his documentaries, 'Nick Yellen' film producer, and 'Nikko Tonolete' editor and cinematographer. Her latest film, Theophany, has been screened at festivals such as San Francisco Arthouse Short Festival and AlMAFF before it won five awards such as, best writing, best producer, best editor, and best student film at LensFame International Film Festival. Isabella Gonzales brings a unique and multifaceted perspective to the world of cinema.
