Director Biography - Emanu Garnheim

Emanu is an animator, prop maker and illustrator working in the film and games industries and with political satire. His design style was developed during his studies at Stockholm University of the Arts where he studied Narrative Animated Film (graduated 2019). His creative philosophy is strongly connected with what can be made by hand and with sustainability in mind. ÅTERSÅDD is his second short film as director.

Emanu is currently active as director, animator and prop maker, working with companies such as Filmic Art, Lava Potion and Acne/IKEA. He has made props for among other THE QUEENS (TV4, 2020), Sune vs. Sune (Unlimited Stories/Nordisk Film 2018) and the upcoming documentary The 28 Children of Vilhelmina (working title, premiere TBD, directed by Annika Kustfält).
