A Sort Of Hunger

Lisa and her brother Kevin have always been close, but not since Kevin joined the most ruthless Mob in Los Angeles. But Lisa’s world starts to unravel when Kenny disappears for weeks without a trace. After uncovering new information about the huge debt her brother owes the mob, Lisa knows the time she has to find her brother before the mob does, time is running out. What she doesn’t know is that there’s a new threat in LA and she’s very hungry.

Director Biography - felicia mead

Felicia A. Mead, Director and Producer of Horror Film and Thriller Media.

Born in May of 1979. Felicia A. Mead, is the first. African American Female, Horror film Director, Producer and Writer from South Central Los Angeles. Ms. Mead has studied: Multimedia (2008-2010 West Los Angeles College) and Cinema (2012-2014 Los Angeles City College), receiving an AA Cinema degree in 2017.  

      Before attending Los Angeles City College. Felicia Mead, wrote and directed, "The Axe", (2010-2012). While attending film school, Felicia also wrote and directed, horror shorts: "The Little Girl", "The Skull of Chaka" and "No ones Their".

In 2014, Ms. Mead created "The Confessions of Dark Mind Series", a horror short series. 

    In 2017, Felicia Mead, wrote directed and produced. Her first comedic horror short, "The Overnight Stay". Which was featured in four film festivals while screened at The Miami International Indiewise Film Festival as well as The American Film Institute's Tinted Rose Shorts Film Festival. And now on a national wise streaming platform such as Amazon Prime.

In 2018, Felicia also wrote and directed her first thriller horror short, The Lonely Man which was private screening in Beverly Hills California, and was also in The Planted Horror Fest.

In 2019, Felicia wrote, directed and produced her short horror, A Sort of Hunger which has been selected as a semi finalist in Monsters and Horrors film festival and a finalist in Hollywood Blood Horror festival.

Director Statement

Trouble on set
Our products was shutdown due to the producer not having the property paperwork for the location and along with the main character bringing an entourage on set which violated two of the actors.

Because of the chaos that was started on set it was hard to try to complete the project ...However we end up completely majority of the project ... This is the completion of the project that I was determined to finish.....
