Director Statement

I’ve always been fascinated with the artistic process. Trained in documentary film, my early works focused on local creatives. While assembling detailed profiles of graphic designers, photographers, and painters, I witnessed firsthand how artists must balance passion and making ends meet. In turn, this kept me motivated to stay in the game.

It also sparked an idea to explore the darker “what if…?" A story about someone who seeks such a balance, but keeps falling short. An artist who pursues their passion at the expense of others. And how they dig themselves out after accidentally realizing the curative power of their art.
