Iranian director, writer, and producer Hashem Mortazavian. He was born in the picturesque city of Isfahan in 1976 and is an Iranian documentary filmmaker. Since graduating from Soore University’s film directing program, he has used the camera to explore risky and difficult social issues. He belongs to the Association of Iranian Documentaries and has a long list of films to his credit that have competed or won prizes at numerous regional, national, and international film festivals. His films often provide a critical commentary on the political and social landscape of Iran, and he is known for his bold and provocative style that challenges conventional norms.
