A (Not So Typical) Christmas Eve.
Tricia (21) is stuck in a bad cycle where she uses casual
encounters to soothe her grief. She meets Erin (22)again at a
Christmas-themed bar on Christmas Eve. This is where they
usually go for a casual, no-strings-attached hookup. But Erin's
feelings for Tricia have grown into love, and he wants to tell
her tonight. Erin tries to talk about his feelings while Tricia
grows more and more drunk. Tricia doesn't seem to care, though.
Tricia, who is still hurting from her past, turns down Erin's
offer for a meaningful relationship in a final fight outside.
This breaks his heart. She'll never forget this Christmas, and
neither will Erin.

This is not your typical romance story; it is a story of how a man can romanticize lingering feelings towards someone. It is also a subtle nod to those fathers who left their daughters. Tricia is a great representation of your daughter’s future behavior, traits, and actions. This is also a call out to those people who have “daddy issues” who tend to validate their treatment towards someone just because they don’t have a “male constant attention” to the point they are hurting someone who truly loves and cares for them. We hear everybody, we validate everybody.
