A letter to God

In a secluded house at the foot of a hill, young Sangte lives with her father, rowing across the river each day to reach her remote school. When she learns that letters dropped into the postbox reach their intended recipient, she writes to God, pleading for relief from their poverty and for her late mother’s well-being. Moved by her innocence, the local postmaster secretly replies, enclosing money to preserve her faith. But while Sangte’s trust in God deepens, an unintended consequence emerges—her quiet mistrust of the very man who answered her prayers.
