Born in Hyderabad, India, A J Sudhakar has underwent an intensive training in kuchipudi classical dance for 15years under the tutelage of Yeleswarapu chalapathi sastry and performed across the city in national and international conventions. He also did diploma in film acting under the guidance of Padmashri Dr. Ram Gopal Bajaj. It was in his film school he was introduced to the art of writing.

He has worked as a hotel manager for a year and then quit to pursue his goal, a career in cinema. As an actor & writer he worked in six short films, As an associate writer he worked in one independent film which got shelved. As an assistant director he worked in one feature film under UV Productions & Pocket Cinema.

Sudhakar is now currently working on his first feature film, penned by him and funded by his friend, and alongside he is also pursuing a diploma in photography.
