A House for the Flowers
At the end of 2023, Anais leaves Los Angeles a defeated, middle aged actress, by the untimely death of her mother, Dahlia, a Brazilian native, who cared her entire life, for her greenhouse, up in Chico, California. Anais has not been back for twenty years, and upon her return, she is faced with abandoned friends, her mother's memory, and the greenhouse, or the "house for the flowers", her mother was obsessed with. Anais must now face herself, her past, and her future, as a year passes, and when all seems lost, the Los Angeles fires break out at the beginning of 2025, in Los Angeles, and how her life, our life, and the Earth, are all alive, as one.

Juliana Philippi is an actress, a writer, and a woman who has experienced the world, as a nomad, an artist, a singer, a dancer, and now, a heart alchemist, using her acting, and her writing, to bring characters and stories to life with love, passion, and purpose. For the good, the entire world, for everyone's chance, to see, react, and change.
This story was inspired by the events that happened due to the wildfire rage, the beginning of this year in Los Angeles, California, but more largely, how they brought to life the language, culture and truth of others, from all over the world, to light.
