A Hidden Oasis - Lunt Meadows Nature Reserve
This Documentary is a portrait of Lunt Meadows nature reserve, located very closely to Liverpool and Formby in the northwest of England. Lunt Meadows is a haven for wildlife, especially Barn Owls and Kestrels. I have tried to portray the importance of such habitats which are the last few strongholds that supports a number of rare and iconic species in the UK!
Join us as the daily drama unfolds in the wilderness of Lunt Meadows Nature reserve in England.

Anoop Ronald originally from southern India was born with a passion for Wildlife and Nature. This is mainly because of the geography and the access to various national parks and reserves around his hometown, born in the Western Ghats there has never been a time a time when Anoop has been disconnected from the Wildside. This early passion has led Anoop to travel the length and breath of India looking for the most pristine Wildlife, Anoop has worked as a Photographer, Photojournalist and also as a Ranger/Guide in various Tiger Reserves across India.
Currently Anoop has taken another leap in this passionate journey as he is pursuing a Masters degree in Wildlife Documentary Production at the University of Salford, Manchester, UK. Anoop's aim is to narrate stories that can connect humans and animals as it is most essential in this world where all our natural resources are depleting, there are many stories out there to be told we just need the right mind.
A hidden oasis is a short documentary portraying a nature reserve in the Northwest of England. In this documentary i have focused on two main/iconic species Barn Owl and Kestrel and is supported by a plethora of avian life from Lunt Meadows NAture Reserve. I have narrated a story of a day in this 'Oasis' as the daily drama unfolds, i have chosen this still as i have been a ranger where i narrated stories about a reserve and its inhabitants through the course of a day. This style aso helped me maintain a smooth flow and also balnce out the colours.
