Dunja Đorđević (1992) is a Serbian based animator and illustrator. She has earned her bachelor’s degree in animation and visual effects from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 2020, with the short `A Compulsive Job` being her fourth year final project.
During her studies, she has explored the topic of mental disorders in comics and animation (specifically obsessive-compulsive disorder, from which she suffers), throwing a twist of comedy where it is usually not found, in hopes of presenting an otherwise serious topic through a lense of humor and reletability. She strongly believes that without humor the world might stop spinning.
Dunja has worked in every field of animation for the past seven years, from commercial projects to stop motion animated shorts, two of which (Seesaw (2015) and Handmade 2020)) have been awarded on international and local festivals. She currently works in the motion capture industry, where she found a middle ground between art and technology.
Outside of spending a lot of time in front of monitors, Dunja loves to travel, walk her dog and play the piano badly.
