Director Biography - Esther Briones

Esther Briones was born on May 28, 1999 in Mexico City. She's a half-time photographer, film director and writer. She is currently working in a co-production of live-action and animation short films for festivals.

Director Statement

The idea of this project came to us during experimental subject class in college, but just as a short story. As time passed by and the final project was delivered, we wanted this short story to become something more, something visual and real.

Then, when we were gathering our crew in production and it became more and more real, we realized that a big studio and big budget aren't necessary to create film projects. Actually, it was a good thing, to have a very low budget blows up our imagination and creativity to solve every came-up issue. A strong and creative crew is more useful than an updated software.

This short films proves that there's no limit to create anything that comes up to your mind.
