Director Biography - Igor Strembitskyy

Winner of the "Palme d'Or" at the Cannes Film Festival shorts competition (France) for the film "Travelers" (2005). Other awards film "Travelers" - best documentary Tiranskoho IFF (Albania), best documentary, best sound and best director at the IFF "Cecily" (Georgia), Grand Prix for the best film of the national competition program of the Ukrainian Film Festival "Contact". "Travel" participated in over 60 international film festivals. Prize winner Norman McLaren Canadian National Union of Cinematographers. Participant of Berlinale Talent Campus (Germany) 2005. Fellow Gaude Polonia - scholarship program of Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland 2008. He was awarded the "Gold Medal" of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine "for significant artistic achievement" prize "Star moment," the second-degree jewelry house "Lobortas" diploma National Union of theatrical figures of Ukraine "for artistic achievement" diploma "Ambassador of Ukrainian Culture" Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine "for a unique artistic achievement and contribution to the popularization of Ukrainian culture abroad."
