Director Statement

Having worked in television news as a video editor when I was younger, I returned to school at the University of Arkansas to obtain a Master's degree in journalism with a focus on documentary film. The film, Eveleth: Snapshots of My Home Town, was produced as part of my master's thesis requirement. The Director of Photography and Editor was my son Nick, who is also a film student, seeking an MFA at CUNY in New York. It was a wonderful opportunity to work with my son as a professional and help him see my roots (and thus his).
