Harrison Houde has been involved in music and film since he was 4 years old, creating dance routines, lip syncs, improvising scenes and character, as well as preparing performances with his older sister Kaylee. Since Harrison's early teens he has been writing music and composing scores for his original online content. He plays piano, drums, various synths, and electronic instruments with some serious skill, and always knows how to pick up a beat. Not to mention he aspires to continue using these talents in an acting and producing career.
Harrison writes and edits all of his original videos and has over 13,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel xTurnipTimex.
If you haven't seen his work online, you may have seen him on Film or TV . He hosted 3 seasons of an educational children's science show called Finding Stuff Out (2011-2014), and you may also see Harrison as Scaredy in Spooksville (2013-2014), and also Harrison stared as Bowie Sherman in YTV's & Netflix original sitcom Some Assembly Required (2014-2016). He has also made appearances on screen in Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010), The Fairly Odd Parents [Live Action Movie] (2011), Disney XD's Pants on Fire (2014), or most recently in an episode of Rogue (2017). Harrison continues to act, and has started a production company Houde Entertainment Inc. creating content on a more professional scale.
I love making narrative stories. I want to be able to convey specific visions with every detail possible. The actors, the music, the setting, the timing, the way the camera moves, or sits still all are parts of the story being told that require attention. At the end of the day, I want to make films that I would watch, films that leave me feeling something. This is what excites me as an actor, a director, a filmmaker.. a creative. I get to create things from my unique perspective and hopefully people can see it, understand, and enjoy it, leaving it inspired or feeling something of some sort.
I believe in myself, being young and ambitious, and surrounding myself with other like-minded humans begins wonderful friendships, and certainly connects a great sense of community between us. I am very privileged to be surrounded by people who share the same goal of creating something of a certain quality, and who understand how to come together to finish and share "that vision".
