An African Revolution
On October 21, 2014, the président of Burkina Faso, Blaise Compaoré, announced plans to amend the constitution to allow him to stay in power for life. Consequently, civil society movements youth movements and political opposition parties opposed this decision by marches and meetings. In a daily chronology, this film retraces from an unique inside perspective, the actions of the last ten days of a 27-year old regime and the fall of the president.

Gideon Vink has a Master's degree in Audiovisual Arts (television / documentary ). After working for Dutch and Flemish public television, he moved to Burkina Faso, where he has lived since 2002 and works as a documentary filmmaker and human rights activist. Gideon Vink was one of the founding members of the Semfilms association that promotes human righst through cinema in West Africa and currently holds the post of artistic director. In this role, he coordinates the various current film productions .
