Director Statement

"Fundamentals" is a short film that can be taken many ways. What I perhaps may want the audience to feel maybe totally different from what the audience takes away at the end of the film. This sort of ambiguity is vital to the film itself. I'm hoping people can take a few things away from this film. One being people are never exactly who we think they are from their outside demeanor. Zig, is a character we do not need to love however, we all may feel some sort of sympathy and connect with him.
