Director Biography - Shihyun Wang

Sherry was a typical Asian women, devoted mother of 2, worked hard at her jobs as both a cpa and a realtor. That was until two years ago when she decided to find something better to do.

She released her first documentary video on youtube July 24, 2015. Even though it was not a big hit at first, the kind comments and support was what Sherry Needs to take life on a different journey. It is a journey she now shares with her 7686 subscribers and over 2 million viewers.

Sherry believes great films are made by hearts not by cameras. Probably to make up for lost time, she has written, produced, edited, directed over 200 videos. Over 70 can be viewed on Amazon.com.

Can you imagine someone over 50 with no prior filming experience, little to spend on making and promoting the films to take on such challenges? Sherry made her first film submission on Oct 12, 2016, and "Paul McCartney is dead" was officially selected by Feel the Reel for Oct. 2016 selection. followed by a Bronze Award in Dec. 2016 by FAME'US Magazine/Film Festival. In addition to 2 Best Documentary award by Independent Horror Movie Awards and AltFF, Girl Indigo, her director debut fiction film won Hell Chess Film Festival's "Film of the Year 2017". This unbelievable win is not only a confirmation of her passion and talent but also an encouragement to anyone with a dream.

Sherry may not have much to offer, but whatever she has, is from her heart.
