Born in Sibiu, Romania, he graduated The Journalism Faculty in 2008, specialised in TV producing. Since then works as an independent filmmaker and videographer for worldwide clients. President of the film and literature association Nova Polaris, of Sibiu. Deeply in love with the antiquity art, painting and the seaside.
Actually the movie had three main inspiration sources.
- An 1969 poem of a Romanian schoolboy called "The Last Song for The Moon", suggesting the demythisation and desacralisation of The Moon starting with the US 1969 astronauts landing.
2. The Columbia 2003, space shuttle crash, when a Texan farmer finds an astronaut helmet on his lands.
3. The character of prof. Werner, saxon form Transylvania (Romania) is a later projection of the famous prof. Hermann Oberth, also born in Transylvania, one of the parents of astrophysics along with Tiolkovsky and Robert H. Goddard .
