Documenting the Witch Path
Documenting the Witch Path has a concept that is new to documentaries and it revolves around an important subject that is up to date all over the world. With a build-up style like an old horror movie we follow the documentary team that will investigate the place called the Witch Lake. The location is where women were executed during the 17th century because they were accused of witchery. Even though it is hundreds of years since the last woman died there, the township does not want people to get anywhere near the lake. These documentary filmmakers did not heed the warnings and what they discovered surprised them as well as the audience.
This is a documentary with a strong message that shocked the test audience to tears.

Carl Sundström was born back in 1992 and was raised in Kramfors, Sweden. He recorded his first amateur film as a 9 year old and he's been making movies ever since. Now, he has taken it to the next level. He graduated from film school in 2017 and during his time there he wrote and directed a few horror shorts. There he met the other two filmmakers that he made Documenting the Witch Path with.
His passion has always revolved around the storytelling about horror and the paranormal. That combined with the fixation of documentary film-making, he has created the hour long award winning documentary film ”Documenting the Witch Path”.
He has since continued with short films within the horror genre, which he hopes to revolutionize one day.
The documentary film I've made is called Documenting the Witch Patch. It has a concept that is new to documentaries and it revolves around an important subject that is up to date all over the world.
