My name is Paul Bestolarides. I am Master’s student and Film Professor with a BA in film. I am a sole believer that anything that comes from a good movie begins with the script. Film making is a passion and I enjoy telling stories with simple ideas and complex characters.
I enjoy exploring stories that further explore the human psyche.
'Last Beat' is a loosely based biography about a soldier gaining inspiration from a traumatic incident. In this case, the object has the power to hold memories, even if it may seem impractical. Soldiers participating in war may be subject to trauma and can become detached from reality by trying to fix the past.
