Dooars & Darjeeling in India are one of the largest tea producing zones in the world, yet the living condition of the workers is a matter of great concern. This film explores the indefinite struggle of the tea workers in securing their rights & livelihood, dwelling in complete uncertainty.

Mainak Guha, an engineering graduate, left his job in 2013 to join Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata, as a post graduate student of Cinema, specializing in Direction & Screenplay writing. This film is his third short documentary. Earlier two were made for Yes Foundation’s social film program. His debut short documentary, "Gechho Bapi", has been one of the top three films awarded by Yes Foundation, India. He’s also made three short fiction films.
