Emily has been involved in the film industry for over a decade. She studied acting with the highly regarded Ivana Chubbuck in Los Angeles, CA, who became a mentor for her during her time there. She has won awards for her acting performances, most notably for her leading role in Jason Lehel’s feature film debut GAIA. She grew up traveling the country with her parents, three brothers and sister, moving over fifteen times to different homes and cities across the United States. Mercy's Girl is Emily's first film as a filmmaker, director and producer.
In 2015, Emily started Three Stones Pictures under her production company Second Star Films. Focusing on dramatic fictional narrative, Mercy's Girl will be the first of three projects slated for the next 5 years.
Emily has a strong passion for cinematography. She enjoys reading and watching anime in her free time and is in the process of writing and producing a feature length film set in Japan following a young transgender woman.
