Silence

Silence is a film made in conjunction with Not Asking For it - a campaign aimed at stopping abuse against women. Touching on the knock on effect of child abuse into adulthood, 'Silence' is an emotional insight into abusive relationships.
Written by spoken word poet Curmiah Lisette - this film was a collaboration with Not Asking For it founder Fiona Compton to provide a rarely seen perspective on abuse.

Director Biography - Fiona Compton

Fiona is a photographer/filmmaker from St.Lucia. Residing in London in March 2016 she launched the Not Asking For it Campaign - geared at bringing to light issues surrounding rape and abuse against women.

Fiona's film work has a strong focus on Caribbean culture and history -with short films encompassing the Caribbean diaspora in Metropolitan countries, as autism. In the past 7 months Fiona's work has been received over 2 million views online.
