Thirst has a dark undertone. We are increasingly getting disconnected emotionally and physically in this virtually connected world and that is taking a toll on a large number of people and is affecting them in different ways. Increasing divorce rates, depression, beak ups and social alienation are some of the effects of this. Thirst portraits a similar scenario that the protagonist faces in this ever increasing virtual globalization and how she reacts to it.
