THE LANGUAGE OF GOD

Ashraful sir lost his faith in Allah and is in a silent war with Allah. He daily stands in front of the mosque and asks questions to Allah in Allah's language- Silence. The language of God is a short film that depicts how various Terrorist Organisations misuse the Silence of God by manipulating religious scriptures to spread violence. The central theme of the movie is Silence - the only way through which God communicates with us, the ultimate expression of all emotions. Silence also connects Nazneen, Rahul, Karan, and Ashraful Sir. The film poses a question to God about the fruitlessness of his Silence and its devastating effect on the world. No religion preaches violence yet we see so much death due to communal violence, is it because of misinterpretation of Silence? Is Silence the most misunderstood expression?

A doctor and a short filmmaker who passed from North Bengal Medical College. Though a medico by profession not only is he interested in just the health of a human being but also the health of the society and thus falling in love with cinema.
