Director Statement

I wanted to manipulate both time and space to make a different kind of observational documentary.

I chose to influence ‘time’ through time-lapse and slow motion photography, whilst the use of split screens allowed me to play with ‘space’ – so the viewer could be in a number of places simultaneously.

From theses fractured components, and with the help of a meditative soundtrack, I then wanted the story to slowly emerge.
