I've got a date tonight with a girl who draws porn and works at a hellfire nightclub...

: BRAD a young male in his early twenties, prepares himself in his bathroom for a date with EMMI, who he has heard draws porn and works at a hellfire nightclub. He narrates his thoughts on her profession, nationality, dress style, and sexual preferences. He objectifies her as a sexually hungry and experienced pleasure seeker, and decides the date will be an adventurous encounter into an unknown world of erotica for him.
Leaving his home he purchases condoms for contraception as he excitedly anticipates his date.
Brad arrives at one of his date’s places of employment, and he narrates his thoughts on the employees, the set up of the establishment, and the style of music. He is confident he is attracting attention from the employees.
His date EMMI arrives and the two talk about Emmi’s different jobs, her co-workers, hellfire, her sexual preference and experience, and it is made clear she has no real interest in erotica, outside of the minimum wage level incomes she receives from work. Brad is blind to her insists of pure thoughts and wholesome intentions, and he still pursues her for sexual activity, and he is rejected, and leaves alone with the unused condoms he bought for contraception still in his pocket.

Director Statement

I was inspired to write this from my own experiences working at a club which held the monthly “Hellfire” nights, and from when I dated a girl who drew soft core adult stills for a production company.
I wanted to make a point of how we as a society assume so much from appearance and stereotypes, whether it be in person or picture, we easily can create a imaginary persona and social class for people we don’t even know before even taking the time to meet and interact with them on a personal level.
