Director Biography - Raabia Hussain

Raabia Hussain was involved with Oldham Deaf Diverse Community as a media leader, where she promotes information out to the community and she has also created short films to promote Deaf Awareness.

She has been studying at Oldham College and Leeds Metropolitan University to study for a degree in Film and Moving Image Production.

She was chosen to make a film with the Zoom 2012 scheme. Her film is called September 11th, and she is the youngest person to get this opportunity and it is great experience for her to make a film to be shown on Film Four and the Community Channel.

September 11th (a short film) had been nominated "Best British Film 2013".
