Experiencing Interruptions?

Dancing Resistanbul

A documentary about the creative resistance in the Gezi Park protests in Istanbul in 2013.
In May 2013, a growing number of people gathered in Taksim Square in central Istanbul. Provoked by the city`s plan to remove Gezi Park, one of the few remaining green spaces in the center of the European side of Istanbul.
The demonstrators response: spontaneous actions in form of concerts, street art and dance.
The documentary shows a generation which stands up for their rights, beginning to formulate their own vision of the future.
