Craig Calman is an actor, writer and director living in Los Angeles. He began filmmaking at the age of 12 with 8mm and Super 8 projects. After traveling throughout Mexico age 19-20 with his Super 8 Bolex he made a 40 minute documentary and was accepted to and graduated from the UCLA Motion Picture/ Television Department in 1975. He then became a professional stage actor and performed Coast to Coast in classical theater. Playwright and screenwriter, lived in NYC 1979-86. Writing assistant to Hollywood Pioneer Producer Hal Roach 1988. Worked with Bette Davis on a film project she wanted to star in, 1987-89. Won Zero Film Festival Purple Heart Award 2008 for "The Calistra Zipper Story" his first digital video feature.
Alexis Del Lago at age 81 is still very much with us, living in West Hollywood. A true pioneer.
