In 2004 he attended and graduated from the New York Film Academy, based in London. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Ikeno began working as freelance video editor and became involved with numerous motion picture projects. While in Japan in 2006, he wrote, edited, produced and directed a low-budget mini DV film called “Wonderful World” – this film has since been the official selection for ‘Best Mini Film’ at the Independents’ International Film Festival 2006, held in Florida.

In April 2009, Aki decided to leave ASyouare Films to his brother and came to NY to work for a TV/Commercial/Motion Picture Production Company where he has been involved on many high profile commercial and motion picture projects.
In 2013 Aki produces and directs his original web drama series called "The Eye of Horus - The Unawakened Dream" in New York. Many talented local actors and crew is on board and starts airing from December 2013. Total 18 episodes web series is finally completed to air all episodes in summer 2015.

The Eye of Horus - The Unawakened Dream is influenced by Japanese Manga & Animation and collaborating with many different mythes, religions, philosophy, supernatural and film noir atmosphere.
I believed in writing a script of epic proportions, and one with an infinite and unpredictable ending.
The Eye of Horus "The Unawakened Dream" forms only part of this epic.
Each time, The Eye of Horus can have many different meaning and the way of meaning.
I made The Unawakened Dream focus on Meta-Fiction and the self-revolution which is the journey to find yourself related with the world.
I hope you find some answer of this mystery and look for next project of the Eye of Horus series.
