Filip is a Warsaw born, Toronto based writer/director whose work includes film, television, commercials and branded content. He is the former Head of Research for the National Geographic Channel in Canada. He has directed videos for Canon, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Campbell’s, Coors Light and Samsung. His short film "The Master" had its World Premiere at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. "Suffer" , inspired by Stephen King’s "Suffer the Little Children" is his latest project.
What appealed to me about "Suffer the Little Children" is that, like Stephen King's best works, it focuses on a complex and interesting character. And in bringing this story to screen I wanted to make this film in the tradition of classic psychological thrillers where character and story are more important than over-the-top visual effects. The result is a film inspired by Stephen King's story; not a literal adaptation but rather a film that compliments the original work.
